Drew Lock Heading To Seattle In Russell Wilson Deal
3 years agoThe Denver Broncos informed quarterback Drew Lock that he's been traded to the Seattle Seahawks as part of the Russell Wilson deal, according to source. The deal has been agreed to in principle -- it still needs Wilson's stamp of approval. If it becomes official, Lock will head to Seattle, where he could be the team's starter in 2022, depending on what they do in the draft and free agency. Lock never panned out in Denver after they selected him in the second round in 2019. The 25-year-old made 13 starts in 2020 and completed a career-low 57.3% of his passes for 2,933 yards, 16 touchdowns and a league-high 15 interceptions. He lost the starting job to Teddy Bridgewater last year and started three games down the stretch when Bridgewater was injured. Lock has a strong arm, but accuracy issues and poor decision-making have held him back.
