Ke'Shawn Vaughn Likely To Have Bigger Role
3 years agoWith the Tampa Bay Buccaneers potentially losing both running backs Leonard Fournette and Ronald Jones II to free agency this offseason, Ke'Shawn Vaughn could be firmly in the mix in the backfield next year with a draft pick or an inexpensive veteran. David Johnson, who played with the Houston Texans last year, could be in the mix in Tampa. Fournette was one of the more valuable RBs in fantasy last year, rushing for 812 yards and eight touchdowns on 180 carries while adding 69 catches for 454 yards and two more TDs. While Tampa's quarterback situation may not be pretty unless Tom Brady comes out of retirement to rejoin the Bucs, Vaughn will still be more attractive in fantasy if he's the lead ball-carrier. The 24-year-old had just 36 carries for 180 yards (5.0 yards per carry) and two touchdowns on the ground in 12 regular season games in 2021.
