3 years agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender Antti Raanta did the unthinkable on Thursday and kept the league's second-best offense from scoring, leading the team to a 2-0 victory over Colorado. He had to make 36 saves to pick up his second shutout of the season. Raanta has now won four of his last five starts to boost his record for the year to 10-3-2. He's allowed 2.31 goals per game with a .918 save percentage. The Finnish veteran has started three straight games with Frederik Andersen (undisclosed) out injured. The Hurricanes No. 1 has returned to practice and should be back soon, but Raanta will definitely see more action this week, as Carolina has a back-to-back set over the weekend.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
