Colts Could Be A Fit For Zach Ertz
3 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts could be a perfect fit for Arizona Cardinals impending free-agent tight end Zach Ertz. Jack Doyle just announced his retirement, and Ertz played for head coach Frank Reich in Philadelphia when Reich was the offensive coordinator from 2016 to 2017. The Colts were also interested in Ertz last offseason and at the trade deadline. Ertz was solid for the Cardinals in 11 games after being traded by the Eagles, producing 56 catches for 574 yards and three touchdowns. The 31-year-old probably isn't in his prime anymore, but he could receive a long-term deal in his first shot at free agency. Ertz's fantasy value this year will be entirely dependent on where he lands, but the Colts currently have a big question mark at the QB position in 2022. The Los Angeles Chargers or Denver Broncos are potential landing spots for Ertz as well.
