Bears Release Tarik Cohen
3 years agoThe Chicago Bears are releasing running back Tarik Cohen (knee) on Friday with an injury designation, according to a source. Cohen hasn't been able to pass a physical stemming from his knee injury in 2020, but his goal is to be ready for the upcoming season after he missed all of 2021. The 26-year-old is unlikely to be selected in most fantasy drafts this fall, but it will be interesting to see where the pass-catching running back will land. Cohen will first need to prove he's past his knee injury. He was a Pro Bowler and first-team All-Pro for the Bears in 2018, when he had 444 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 99 carries, adding 71 receptions for 725 yards and five additional TDs on 91 targets in 16 games (seven starts).
