Welcome back race fans. Kyle Busch wasn't able to extend his win streak last week at Talladega as it was the Ford camp who dominated the race as they made up six of the seven finishing positions including the winner, Joey Logano. It was a long time coming as Logano has been one of the most consistent drivers all season and has nice Top 10's through the first 10 races and sits second in the points behind Kyle Busch.
This week the Monster Energy Cup Series travels to the Monster Mile, Dover International Speedway for the AAA 400 Drive for Autism this Sunday afternoon. The track is a one-mile oval with 24 degrees of banking that races like a short track due to the aggressiveness but has speed similar to a mile and a half track. For fantasy, we will be back on dominator points to help us build our core driver list as there has been multiple drivers lead 100 or more laps in three straight and four of the last six races.
If you are playing over on FanDuel, one nice thing I like so far is we can include more drivers who start inside the Top 10 but don't necessarily have dominator potential. A perfect example of this is Daniel Suarez who started inside the Top 5 in both races last season and finished eighth and sixth. With no laps led or fast laps he only averaged 35.35 DraftKings points but on FanDuel, he averaged 72.8 points. With all that said, let's jump right into the picks for this weekend.
Daily Fantasy NASCAR: DraftKings and FanDuel DFS Lineup Picks - AAA 400 Drive for Autism
Kevin Harvick(DK-$11,000 FD-$12,100)
Harvick hasn't been the best here lately with finishes of 17th, 9th, 37th, and 15th in his last four races but has the car to dominate this weekend. He qualified on the front row beside pole-sitter Kyle Larson and came out on Saturday showing some top speed ranking 6th and 5th in the two practices and 3rd and 5th in the 10-lap averages in those practices. He knows how to get up front and dominate as he leads the series through 10 races with 540 laps led so fire him up in all formats this week.
Chase Elliott(DK-$9,300 FD-$11,500)
He is still searching for his first career win and I would not be surprised at all if he got it here at Dover where he has been nearly dominant. In four career races, he has finished inside the Top 5 in all of them and looks to have a car that can keep that streak going and help him compete for the win. He qualified in the sixth position for Sunday's race and posted the fourth and second-fastest speeds in the final practices and provides us value under $10K on DraftKings. He is a great option to build your cash game lineups around and also has upside for GPP's, especially on FanDuel.
Paul Menard(DK-$6,800 FD-$8,000)
This has not been Menard's best track as he has just one Top 20 finish in his last five races but he comes at a value price and has shown some speed this weekend. After posting the top speed in the first practice on Friday, he slipped a bit in qualifying and will start back in the 20th position. This gives him some place differential value as he then came out on Saturday and posted the 14th and 9th fastest speeds in the final practices with the 7th and 10th fastest 10-lap averages in those practices. He is safe in all formats.
David Ragan(DK-$5,300 FD-$5,800)
He is coming off a season-high sixth-place finish last week at Talladega and once again stands out as a top punt value play. He will start 32nd on Sunday and posted the 16th and 22nd fastest speeds in the final two practices which give him some place differential value and on the season, has finished inside the Top 25 in eight of the last nine races.
