BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 13% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Aaron Hicks has featured in 11 (ten starts) of the New York Yankees 13 games so far with a somewhat unsightly .188/.366/.344 slash line. Hicks has just the one home run with three RBI, four runs scored and has yet to steal a base. When Hicks does play, he gets a prime spot in the potent Yankees offense with nine starts coming at third or fifth in the lineup (and one start at leadoff). His ability to get on base (nine walks) offers him more value in leagues counting OBP but also gives him a longer leash in the Yankees team even when he's not putting the ball in play often enough.
Hicks is still recovering from his Tommy John Surgery which was a big reason why he went undrafted so much back in Spring. Before last season's elbow injury, Hicks was on track to top 30 homers, 80 runs and 80 RBI which followed his career-best season in 2018 when he hit 27 homers, scored 90 runs and had 79 RBI (in 137 games). That 2018 season was a career-high in games played too so he is an injury risk, but even playing ~80% of games, hitting in the heart of the Yankees lineup should mean Hicks is rostered in all leagues with twelve or more teams.
