BALLER MOVE: Stash in Deep Leagues
ANALYSIS: Escobar is coming off a disappointing 2013 season, where he put up a .234/.259/.300 line and a lowly .559 OPS. Escobar will never get you any power production, or win you any leagues on his own, but he has stolen 22, 35 and 26 bases the past three seasons. If you play in a league with a MI slot, or are looking for some cheap speed, Escobar can be a decent pickup and stash off the waiver wire. He is only 1 year removed from a .293 AVG and .721 OPS with 35 SB, and plays at a thin shortstop position, so if he gets off to a hot start he will be a fast pickup off the waiver wire.
