BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 55 percent of Fleaflicker leagues
ANALYSIS: Alex Bregman’s failure to immediately set the world on fire led to many fantasy owners souring on him. Such is life for any top prospect. But after going just 2-for-42 to open his Major League career, Bregman has shown the form that had so many riding the hype train before his arrival. He’s hitting .307/.360/.545 over the last four weeks, with five home runs and 42 R+RBI in just 24 games. With Luis Valbuena undergoing season-ending surgery and Yulieski Gurriel mainly slotting in at designated hitter since his callup, Bregman's entrenched at the hot corner for the Astros. Houston has surged to within a game of the AL's second wild-card berth, and Bregman's production has been a big reason why. He deserves a spot on any fantasy roster.
