The New Orleans Pelicans can sympathize because they've been decimated by injuries. As a result, guys like Alexis Ajinca are getting a chance to be go-to scorers. On Wednesday, Ajinca scored 18 points while racking up nine boards and adding a steal. That makes three of the last four contests that he's scored double digit points.
For a big man his FG% isn't great, but he can get you rebounds and is a fringe double-double threat. He can also add some blocks and steals, which gives him decent value. If you're desperate for a serviceable big man, Ajinca could be your guy. With such little time left, you have to roll the dice. His scoring may be a little inconsistent, but he's going to get the opportunities. All it takes is one big game to win you your fantasy title.
