Baller Move: Add and stash

Analysis: It's difficult to not want a starting running back from any team in your lineup, especially if he's provided fantasy value in the past. After a season-ending injury to starter Arian Foster, it appeared that Alfred Blue would be the top waiver pickup. But Blue has yet to prove himself since replacing Foster, carrying the ball 26 times for 61 yards in two games.
The Houston Texans haven't had much to cheer about this season, and despite their surprising victory Monday night against the then undefeated Cincinnati Bengals, they've underachieved all season. Even when Foster was healthy, the Texans have been a predominantly passing team. Why wouldn't you be with DeAndre Hopkins leading a corps of receivers? Blue failed to impress in the Monday night game as he was out-rushed on fewer carries by backup Jonathan Grimes, who posted 33 yards to Blue's 22. The numbers that make it clear how little the Texans rely on the run.
The Texans face the stingy New York Jets next who have given up the fifth-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season, according to Yahoo! Sports. It can't hurt to have Blue on your bench, so it would be wise to scoop him up if you still can, but it's simply unwise to start him in 10-12 team, standard and PPR leagues.
