BALLER MOVE: Add as RB3 or flex depth

ANALYSIS: Alfred Blue isn't the most talented running back you'll see on an NFL field, but if this season has shown us anything, it's that backups can shine when called upon. Just look at Thomas Rawls, DeAngelo Williams and Charcandrick West (or now Spencer Ware), to name a few.
When Houston lost Arian Foster for the season due to a torn Achilles tendon in Week 7, it was initially believed the team would move forward with a committee approach, spreading touches between Blue, Chris Polk and Jonathan Grimes. But that simply hasn't been the case. Since Week 8, Blue has 73 touches (63 carries, 10 receptions), while Polk and Grimes have a combined 46. Blue isn't putting up Foster-like numbers, but most owners would happily take 81 total yards and a touchdown, which is what he posted this past Sunday against New Orleans.
Blue's workload alone makes him worth owning. He's also scored touchdowns in back-to-back games, another encouraging development. Houston doesn't have any majorly run-friendly matchups remaining on its schedule, aside from perhaps Indianapolis in Week 15, but if you're in a position to add Blue as running back or flex depth, it'd be a wise move.
