BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 38% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Nobody was thinking about Houston flipping things from black to white in a single season, and we were all correct with that easy-peasy prediction to make. The Rockets are on their way to another top-3 pick next June, and that's good! Nothing to hate about that type of thing when even their late first-round pick in Alperen Segun has been arguably better than their early one in Jalen Green. I'm dead serious, folks.
Sengun hasn't started many games in his rookie campaign in Texas, but that doesn't mean he's been very good at this thing called basketball. Approaching the end of his freshman season, Sengun has already bagged six double-double games in his short pro-run, has gotten three of those in the month of March, and is putting up numbers daily to close the year. Sengun has played more this month (24 MPG) than at any point earlier this season and he's been solid for Houston given the context in which the franchise is operating and the depressing surroundings he finds himself as part of.
Among rookies, Sengun is contributing 9+ PPG (13th), 5+ RPG (5th), 2+ APG (9th), and 1+1 stocks per game (4th). The best about Sengun's stats is that he's getting them in fewer than 20 MPG over the full season while his main rookie competitors are almost all playing 30+ minutes a night. I have been a Day-1 Sengun stan and I can only see tons of potential in him going forward. Even if that full skill set is yet to develop, if you need a do-it-all big man ROS you can do much worse than rostering the Turkish biggie. He's getting points, rebounds, and steals in bunches with the lone negative of sky-high fouls and turnovers and not the best free-throw stroke.

Fantasy Basketball Deeper-League Waiver Wire Adds for Week 24: Isaac Okoro, Kris Dunn, Josh Richardson, Corey Kispert, Delon Wright
The deeper a fantasy basketball league, the harder it is to hit a winner with your last few picks. It is also harder to find decent help from the waiver wire if your late-round picks don't do you justice. If you picked up a few stinkers, don't lose hope just yet. I will try to […]
Onyeka Okongwu (SF/PF, ATL): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 16% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Hawks are currently the 10th seed in the East but are also tied for 8th and 9th with Brooklyn and Charlotte respectively. There's even a chance (albeit small) that Atlanta could rise as high as to reach the 7th seed if […]
Immanuel Quickley (PG, NYK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 48% of leagues ANALYSIS: If we use common basketball sense, then the New York Knicks and Coach Thibs should try and see what the young guys such as Immanuel Quickley have in them and what they can provide the franchise with ROS, as the NYK are […]
Deni Avdija (SG/SF, WAS): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 37% of leagues ANALYSIS: One would reasonably think that a player seeing a playing-time boost such as that of Deni Avdija's this month would make said player drop his efficiency numbers. Well, not the case for the Wiz Wing by the looks of it. Avdija has […]
Nicolas Claxton (PF/C, BRK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 24% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Nets can finally rest assured they'll make the play-in portion of the season. Not quite what you expected when the season got rolling back in October, but at least more than what the Lakers would have accomplished a week from now. […]
