For two weeks now, the sport of NASCAR has been moving at a rapid pace, and has created an awesome wave in racing amongst new fans and NASCAR DFS players. The Coca-Cola 600 however was not what we came for (call Rhianna). Many took to Twitter the next day, and voiced their opinions on Chase Elliott basically giving up the lead due to a last-minute pit stop, and the overall dislike of the longest race of the season.
Although I love every race in NASCAR, the Coca-Cola 600 is more of a test of mental capacity than an excitement factory. Keselowski bagged the win after the late Elliott pit stop (what a world!) that left so many "di9" fans in shambles. Not to mention Jimmie Johnson failed post-race inspection and lost his second-place finish.
It was a weird race for sure, but the beauty of Wednesday night is the fact that we lose 100 miles in this race. The lineup is set using the Top 20 inversion method, which gave DraftKings, and FanDuel the ability to set difficult DFS salaries. We definitely want to carry over some key performers, but there are a few newcomers for this shorter race at Charlotte that we should have our eyes on. With that being said, below are my DraftKings and FanDuel NASCAR DFS lineup picks for the Alsco Uniforms 500 on Wednesday May 27th. Good luck RotoBallers!

Denny Hamlin #11 (DraftKings $9,200 | FanDuel $12,300 | DK SportsBook +1000)
Hamlin's car decided to relieve itself from extra weight at the beginning of Sunday's Coca-Cola 600, and all of the Hamlin owners paid dearly. This go-round I fully expect the FedEx team to have it all figured out, and Hamlin to rocket ship to the front of the pack by the end of Stage 1. Hamlin rolls off from P29, and is an excellent place differential play.
Tyler Reddick #8 (DraftKings $7,600 | FanDuel $8,000 | DK SportsBook +4000)
Reddick (at the moment) is easily the best driver in RCR's stables, and with him starting in P15, I want a few pieces of him. Reddick should easily enter the Top 10 early in the race, and if Austin Dillon can pull off what he did for the majority of the Coca-Cola 600, Reddick should be able to and more. Reddick is easily my favorite play in his price range.
Jimmie Johnson #48 (DraftKings $12,300 | FanDuel $11,200 | DK SportsBook +1100)
The Chalk Boi's have been named on the latest NASCAR DFS Preview Show, and Johnson takes home the cake for chalkiest play known to man starting in P40. Johnson will be the highest owned driver on the track most likely, and the most expensive on the slate. DraftKings is definitely paying more attention to NASCAR now with him being priced the way he is.
Matt DiBenedetto #21 (DraftKings $6,500 | FanDuel $8,100 | DK SportsBook +5000)
DiBenedetto, De Burrito, Deb ah Deto, dont matter Matty D is sending it from P4. At first glance I wasn't so sure about this play, but seeing his price this low is just too good to pass up. As long as DiBenedetto can hold his own and finish with a Top 10, you will get buku bang for your buck with the driver that gets his name screwed up more than any other (See how Randy The Plumber says Dibenedetto).
Martin Truex Jr. #19 (DraftKings $9,400 | FanDuel $14,000 | DK SportsBook +500)
Truex Jr. is the Vegas favorite for Wednesday's race in Charlotte, and with great backing too. Truex was my pick to win the Coca-Cola 600, but the racing gods had other plans. Truex Jr. still boasts one of the best records at this track, and he is starting from P15.
Ty Dillon #13 (DraftKings $6,300 | FanDuel $5000 | DK SportsBook +30,000)
Geico Dillon is looking pretty solid for another low priced driver that can stay consistent throughout the race. With an average finish of 20th over the past few races, Dillon will provide salary relief, and a smooth points total to add to your other power plays. Dillon starts in P25 on Wednesday night.
Alex Bowman #88 (DraftKings $8,700 | FanDuel $12,200 | DK SportsBook +750)
Bowman should easily be the early dominator on Wednesday night. I honestly wouldn't be shocked to find out that between the '19 - '20 season, Bowman went down to the crossroads, and sold his soul to the devil to hit the vroom and zoom on the racetrack. Bowman will start from P2 behind teammate William Byron (reminder to some that this is not iRacing, dont get cute).
Timmy Hill #66 (DraftKings $5,000 | FanDuel $3,000 | DK SportsBook +150,000)
Please dont come at me with jokes for this pick because with how these drivers are priced this week, you have to have a "Low Boi". Hill is starting in P34, and at his price, he can easily be pushed in alongside multiple chalk plays in lineups. Hill's most recent best finish at this track came in 2017 where he finished in P29.
