Alshon Jeffery In, Matt Forte Out, Marshawn Lynch & Emmanuel Sanders Game-Time Decisions

Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery is still battling the groin injury that kept him out of the lineup for four weeks earlier in the season, but according to Adam Schefter, Jeffery will play today against the Rams. Per Adam Schefter, Bears running back Matt Forte will miss his second consecutive game with a knee injury. With Alshon in, he will continue to be peppered with targets as he is clearly the Bears best offensive weapons. In for Forte is rookie running back Jeremy Langford. Langford had a big day on Monday night against the San Diego Chargers with 25.2 PPR points and I think he is a must start this week, even in a tough matchup against a solid Rams run defense.

According to Adam Schefter, Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is a 50/50 game-time decision against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday Night Football. If you have another startable option at running back on Sunday or Monday night, I'm okay with starting Lynch. If you don't have night game alternatives, I think you have to just go with the healthy early option. If Lynch is out, Thomas Rawls becomes a startable RB2. Whichever running back is starting, they will be facing a Cardinals defense that has surrendered the sixth-fewest fantasy points to running backs so far this season.

Per Adam Schefter, Broncos wide reciever Emmanuel Sanders is also a 50/50 game-time decison. The Broncos also have a later game with a 4:25 start, so if your only alternatives are in the early games, I think you have to opt for the earlier option. There isn't really a viable second option for Denver, so it'll be a small boost for Demaryius Thomas, who will likely see a ton of targets against a Chiefs defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. In his second week in the offense, I think Vernon Davis may see a few targets, but there isn't enough confidence there to put him in a lineup. With Sanders out of the lineup, it is a bump down for Peyton Manning who has been difficult to start this year even with his receiving corps at full strength.
