ANALYSIS: Another young prospect with a good chance to make an impression on owners is the Mets' Amed Rosario. It seems that Rosario is the one prospect who just hasn't gotten a glimpse of the MLB no matter how ravaged the Mets have been with injuries. With the trade deadline looming, the club will bring up the future of their offense by the start of August.
Rosario recently missed some time with the Las Vegas 51s due to a stomach bug, which probably pushed back his MLB timeline. However, with the non-waiver deadline approaching on July 31, Rosario will be in a Mets uniform in no time. This year in Triple-A, he's mashed to a tune of .329/.367/.465 to go along with seven HR, 19 SB, 57 RBI and 65 Runs in 389 AB. And he's a shortstop, where production can run easily run dry for fantasy owners. Grab him off the waiver wire before the hype hits and you miss him.
