BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 31% of leagues
ANALYSIS: New York Mets shortstop Amed Rosario hit .328 for Triple-A Las Vegas last season and is starting to show some promise for the 2018 season. While he is hitting just .249 on the season, he has swiped 10 bags in 15 tries so far in the second half, and he has totaled 47 R+BI. He has a .256/.291/.359 slash line in the second half, taking over the leadoff role for the Mets
The former top prospect has a .286/.319/.411 since the beginning of August, hitting eight extra-base hits, and has three consecutive multi-hit games. While he has been caught stealing in three of his last four attempts, he is still a good source of speed (16 SB on the season) and he has a track record of hitting well.
Better suited for an NL-only league, Rosario could provide depth as a MI in deeper leagues or as a fill-in at SS if you are in need of steals. As he was a top prospect, this strong run of play could be the start to a torrid close of the season for the 22-year-old.
