BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 9% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Amed Rosario was one of the premier pieces that enticed Cleveland to send Francisco Lindor and Carlos Carrasco to the Mets, and rumors swirled of potential future locations, but he's finding his groove for the Tribe and should soon be making an impact for Fantasy Baseball Managers. In 139 AB this season, he has two home runs, four stolen bases (in four tries), and a .245/.314/.367 slash. He has also improved his average exit velocity to 88.7 MPH, is hitting hard for a career-high 43.1%, is hitting for 78% combined line drives and grounders, has lowered his strikeout rate to 19.6%, and has his best walk rate yet at 8.5%.
Rosario got off to a rough start, but he is batting .303 with three doubles, three triples, and all four of his stolen bases over the last 76 AB. Now that he is reaching base at a .361 clip over the same period, he has finally been able to utilize his superior speed to score runs and swipe bags, and with his hard hit rate and line drive frequency, his hits are going for extra bases more often as he heats up. With that statistical package rolling together, Amed Rosario is well worth an acquisition in deeper formats.
