BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues

ANALYSIS: If you were surprised to find Amir Coffey featured in last week's WW posts, I might have understood that reaction. This week, though, no chance. Coffey has started the last 12 Clippers games through Friday logging an average of 32 MPG on that dozen games, so there is no excuse to not track this man these days and going forward--remember, Paul George is probably done for the season and Kawhi Leonard is just not coming back as long as there are doubts surrounding PG13 and his availability to make a postseason run.
But hey, don't get this wrong! Coffey has been as good as possible for the type of player/WW pickup he is. Coffey came out of left field after going undrafted in 2019 and being pretty much an afterthought through the past couple of seasons only to rack up playing time this year. And it is not that he's just standing there on the court doing nothing. No, sir. Coffey is taking absolute advantage of the opportunity to put up a solid 14-4-3-1 line as a starter in the past 20 days. He's doing so averaging 32 minutes while shooting a nice 47% from the field (10 FGA) and a marvelous 92% from the charity stripe (3.2 FTA).
Although Coffey has not been any sort of an incredible player (he's putting up a below-average 0.83 FP/min as a starter) that is mostly because of his sky-high playing time for a time that simply lacks top-tier talent. Coffey makes up for the lack of efficiency with those bulky runs and has scored double-digit points in eight of his last 12 games through the past 20 days of play (starting all 12 at the wing). Coffey gives you steals and boards, doesn't turn the ball over and has a fantastic three-point stroke with 2.3+ 3PM in that 12-game span (in fact, he's shooting 45/38/88 splits over the full season).

Fantasy Basketball Deeper-League Waiver Wire Adds for Week 24: Isaac Okoro, Kris Dunn, Josh Richardson, Corey Kispert, Delon Wright
The deeper a fantasy basketball league, the harder it is to hit a winner with your last few picks. It is also harder to find decent help from the waiver wire if your late-round picks don't do you justice. If you picked up a few stinkers, don't lose hope just yet. I will try to […]
Onyeka Okongwu (SF/PF, ATL): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 16% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Hawks are currently the 10th seed in the East but are also tied for 8th and 9th with Brooklyn and Charlotte respectively. There's even a chance (albeit small) that Atlanta could rise as high as to reach the 7th seed if […]
Immanuel Quickley (PG, NYK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 48% of leagues ANALYSIS: If we use common basketball sense, then the New York Knicks and Coach Thibs should try and see what the young guys such as Immanuel Quickley have in them and what they can provide the franchise with ROS, as the NYK are […]
Deni Avdija (SG/SF, WAS): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 37% of leagues ANALYSIS: One would reasonably think that a player seeing a playing-time boost such as that of Deni Avdija's this month would make said player drop his efficiency numbers. Well, not the case for the Wiz Wing by the looks of it. Avdija has […]
Nicolas Claxton (PF/C, BRK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 24% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Nets can finally rest assured they'll make the play-in portion of the season. Not quite what you expected when the season got rolling back in October, but at least more than what the Lakers would have accomplished a week from now. […]
