BALLER MOVE: Target ~ 30 (Current ADP: 49, RB: 20)
ANALYSIS: Although not a sleeper in the traditional sense, Andre Ellington continues to be extremely undervalued in ESPN leagues where his ADP is 49. In Yahoo, CBS and FFC his ADP is closer to 30 which is about where it should be, but if you play in ESPN leagues, listen up. When you take into account how shoddy some of the other running backs are going around Ellington, he deserves to be talked up. Among the running backs going directly ahead of him are C.J. Spiller and Ben Tate, both of whom have an injury history. In addition to having an advantage in the health department, Ellington is also "THE" guy in Arizona whereas Spiller continues to get vultured by Fred Jackson (and now has Bryce Brown to worry about as well) and Tate has rookie Terrence West to keep off his back. The fact that Cardinals Head Coach Bruce Arians has come out and explicitly stated that Ellington will be a big part of their offense in 2014 should give you the confidence that he will see the bulk of the workload. In a league with so many teams imploring a running back by committee, that should give a huge boost to Ellington's fantasy stock. The best approach to grabbing Ellington would be to forgo the outdated RB/RB approach in the first two rounds and wait to snag Ellington near the end of the fourth round in ESPN leagues. In other leagues, if you pick around 30-35, he's a fine pick as a second RB as well.
