BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team PPR Leagues
OWNED IN: 9% of Yahoo Leagues
ANALYSIS: It may have been a meaningless touchdown that Andre Ellington scored on Thursday night, but it's a reminder that he could still have fantasy value even in a struggling offense. He was stymied in Week 11, catching just three of six targets for 26 yards and running for four yards, but it did come against the Seattle defense. Doubters may also point to the fact that the Cards may be down to their third-string QB in Week 11, as Drew Stanton sprained his knee and may have to miss a week or two. If Blaine Gabbert becomes the signal caller in Arizona, expect a steady diet of checkdowns, which could work in Ellington's favor.
He is a far less exciting option than he was a few weeks ago, but there's still some potential for a few points in PPR leagues. Next week's matchup with Houston is looking far more favorable than it did at the beginning of the year. The upside is definitely limited, but if you need a relatively safe play to fill a flex spot, Ellington is still on the radar.
