BALLER MOVE: Add in 14-Team Leagues

ANALYSIS: The Blazers are hurting for warm bodies, and hurting bad at it. Zach Collins remains out, CJ McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic got injured earlier this season, and even Robert Covington and Derrick Jones entered the injury report in the last few hours. Ugh. Portland already relied on Anfernee Simons last season, but he had not been part of the equation a lot in 2021 until there was no other option for the Blazers.
Since last Sunday, Simons has played 23+ minutes in each of Portland's last three games. He went for 23 on Sunday, played 29 on Monday, and lastly logged 28 against Houston on Thursday. The best of all has been Simons' great efficiency in those minutes off the bench: Anfernee has averaged 18.7 PPG, 4.3 RPG, and 1 APG in those three games, he's hit 14 total three-pointers, and he's shooting the hell out of the rock with 13 FGA hitting 54.7 percent of his shots from the floor.
While Simons doesn't now a path to the free-throw line, he's shot so well from the field lately that he just hasn't needed those extra freebies. He mostly avoids turnovers and although his creation isn't overwhelming with just one dime per game, he's a monster and pulling down boards for a guy in his position. At least for the time being and until injured players come back, Simons looks like a great WW-target in deeper leagues ROS and even shallower ones if only until CJ returns.
