BALLER MOVE: Add in All PPR Leagues
OWNED IN: 34% of Yahoo! Leagues
ANALYSIS: Austin Ekeler had his worst game of the month on Thanksgiving against the Cowboys. His stat-line? Six carries for 15 yards, and three catches for 55. Ekeler has carved out a role in the Chargers offense as a change-of-pace back and a receiving threat out of the backfield. He found the end zone three times in November, as he has surprisingly eaten into Melvin Gordon's touches. Everything about Ekeler is trending upwards right now.
Will it continue? The Chargers are creeping into the AFC West battle and Ekeler has played an important role in that resurgence, which suggests he'll continue getting between nine and 15 touches going forward. He's also shown over the past two games that he can stay involved in games where the Chargers are winning--an important thing for a running back whose playing style would traditionally be best utilized when playing from behind. Ekeler is a must add in PPR leagues right now and has even worked his way toward consideration in standard leagues as well.
