Seattle Mariners outfielder Austin Jackson has cleared revocable waivers and can now be traded, according to Fox Sports.
Jackson "has been the subject of trade talks recently,” according to the report. The Mariners outfielder will be a free agent after the season, which means it might not cost too much for any team to snag the six-year veteran. Teams also have until Aug. 31 if they want to trade for Jackson and have him eligible to be on a team’s postseason roster.

The Mariners are 10 games below .500 and aren’t going anywhere this season.
