BALLER MOVE: Add in 10+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 39% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Austin Meadows has had a tremendous start to his major league career. In just 33 at-bats, Meadows has a .443 AVG with three home runs and a slash line of .433/.867/1.300. Some expected him to go back to the minors with Starling Marte back from his injury, but he's hit well enough to warrant staying on. His .547 wOBA may not stay so high, but it's quite impressive as that's over 200 points above league average. Meadows has a 50% hard hit ball rate. He's a good pickup if still available in your league, as he most definitely will get more playing time this year and is currently producing at an elite rate. Another thing that helps set Meadows apart from other power hitters is his ability to steal bases. He has three so far in nine games, including one today. The Pirates have scored the sixth most runs in the league to this point, making them a great lineup for Meadows to get runs and RBI. When a player of this pedigree gets off to this hot of a start, he needs to be picked up off the waiver wire.
