Chicago White Sox catcher Kevan Smith (ankle) will have offseason surgery on his ankle. Smith hit .288/.343/.362 with two home runs and 19 RBI in only 163 at-bats this season as a backup for the White Sox. He won't have any fantasy appeal heading into the 2019 season.
