Ryan Dodson 5 years agoAaron Donald With Two Sacks
Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald had two sacks against the Chicago Bears in Week 11. That makes five games in a row he has reached the quarterback. He added four tackles (three solo) and batted down a pass. Donald remains a solid DL1 in individual defensive formats.
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoRams Defense Solid In Week 11
The Los Angeles Rams Defense tallied three sacks and an interception while holding the Chicago Bears to just seven points in Week 11. The Rams will have a very tough test against the Baltimore Ravens next week and are probably best avoided.
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoGerald Everett Targeted Once
Los Angeles Rams tight end Gerald Everett caught the only ball thrown to him in Week 11 for 20 yards. The team clearly focused on running the ball, and they didn't take many shots down the field. Everett should have more opportunities next week against the Baltimore Ravens.
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoCooper Kupp Schemed Out
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp was limited to three catches for 53 yards in Week 11 against the Chicago Bears. The Rams completed just 11 passes and clearly planned around the run with wide receivers Robert Woods (personal) and Brandin Cooks (concussion) out. He caught all of his targets, and one of them […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoMalcolm Brown Scores
Los Angeles Rams running back Malcolm Brown had five carries for 15 yards and a touchdown in Week 11. It was Brown's first useful day in fantasy since Week 1 when he vultured two touchdowns. You can't bank on that week to week, but he needs to be handcuffed to starting running back Todd Gurley. […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoTodd Gurley Finally Lets Loose
Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley rushed 25 times for 97 yards and a touchdown in the Week 11 win over the Chicago Bears. He did lose a fumble, however. Gurley also caught three balls for 36 yards. The three catches tied for the team lead as the team finally rode on his back. […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoJared Goff Quiet In Week 11
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff was 11-for-18 for 173 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Week 11 against the Chicago Bears. That was the fewest amount of attempts he has had as a starter. The Rams surprisingly relied on the run and were able to secure the victory. Goff's play has to worry […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoBudda Baker All Over The Field
Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker had 13 tackles (12 solo) against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 11. It's the third time in four games he has had 13 or more tackles as Baker has risen up the DB1 ranks in fantasy. The Cardinals will be off next week before they take on the Los […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoJordan Hicks With Big Game
Arizona Cardinals linebacker Jordan Hicks had 12 tackles (eight solo), a sack, an interception and a pass defended against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 11. Hicks has been effective, but he hasn't quite reached LB1 status. He'll be in the mix for a flex play when the Cardinals return to play Dec. 1, against […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoChandler Jones Makes Presence Felt
Arizona Cardinals linebacker Chandler Jones recorded four tackles (three solo) in Week 11, and he extended his sack streak to three consecutive games. Jones has 11.5 sacks on the season and has reached the quarterback in all but two games. The Cardinals are off next week and will face the Los Angeles Rams Dec. 1.
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoZane Gonzalez Has OK Day
Arizona Cardinals kicker Zane Gonzalez was 2-for-2 in field goals and 2-for-3 in extra points against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 11. Gonzalez has been strong the last few weeks, but he'll be on a bye next week. He's probably not worth stashing in traditional formats to get through it.
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoAndy Isabella Silent
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Andy Isabella had just one catch for six yards in Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers. Isabella flirted with fantasy relevance with big plays in recent weeks, but he didn't quite make it. The Cardinals are on a bye next week, and Isabella doesn't have roster viability.
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoChristian Kirk Mediocre
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk had six receptions for 41 yards in Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers. His nine targets led the team. It was a rough matchup, but he still posted 10 points in point-per-reception leagues. Kirk will have the week off before facing the Los Angeles Rams Dec. 1. He'll […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoLarry Fitzgerald Delivers Mixed Bag
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald had five catches for 37 yards and a touchdown in Week 11, but he also lost a fumble. The score was his first one since Week 3. Fitzgerald has been catching just enough to be worth using in point-per-reception formats, but his yardage and touchdowns haven't been up to […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoKenyan Drake Takes The Lead
Arizona Cardinals running back Kenyan Drake rushed 16 times for 67 yards and caught six receptions for 13 yards in Week 11. He was kept out of the end zone, but it was a solid showing in point-per-reception leagues against one of the best defenses in football. Running back David Johnson didn't have a rush […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoDavid Johnson Sees No Touches
Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson received no carries or targets in Week 11. That could go down as one of the biggest surprises all week. Johnson had been battling an ankle injury, but he was taken off the injury report. Unless something comes out about him still being limited due to injury, he has […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoKyler Murray Decent In Loss
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray went 24-for-33 for 150 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions and rushed for a score in the 36-26 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 11. He rushed eight times for 67 yards. It was a great performance considering it was against one of, if not the best defense in […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoAaron Donald Worth Starting
Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald has sacks in four games straight, and he could make it five against the Chicago Bears. The Bears have allowed 3.5 sacks per game over the last four games. Donald is a low-end DL1 in individual defensive player leagues.
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoRams Defense Makes The Cut
The Los Angeles Rams Defense has recorded 3.8 sacks per game over the last four games to go with 1.3 fumble recoveries and 0.5 interceptions per game. Their numbers are a little skewed because they've scored two touchdowns during the stretch, but the matchup against the Chicago Bears is a solid one. Start them as […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoRobert Woods Worth The Flex Play
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Robert Woods stepped up last week with seven catches for a team-high 95 receiving yards on 11 targets. He'll need to continue that level of play with Brandin Cooks (concussion) out again this week and tight end Gerald Everett (wrist) expected to play through injury. The Chicago Bears are a […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoDarrell Henderson Shouldn't Be Started
Los Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson rushed four times for four yards in Week 10, and he figures to continue sharing backup duties with Malcolm Brown. Henderson isn't worth starting against the Chicago Bears, but he should be handcuffed to starting running back Todd Gurley.
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoMalcolm Brown Not Worth Starting
Los Angeles Rams running back Malcolm Brown had five carries for 10 yards last week after a month-long absence with an ankle injury. He could see a little more work, but he'll share whatever starting running back Todd Gurley doesn't take with rookie Darrell Henderson. Brown and Henderson negate each other in fantasy, but they […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoTodd Gurley On the Cusp?
Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley was more effective as a runner last week than he had been since Week 1 with 6.1 yards per rush. The team just didn't use him enough. That may ultimately be their kryptonite as they fall in love with the pass frequently, and it has them in third […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoJared Goff A Suspect Start
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff has had two really bad games out of the last four, and he's facing a tough matchup against the Chicago Bears. The Bears allowed 247.5 passing yards and 1.3 touchdowns per game to quarterbacks, but they picked off just 0.5 passes per game in the span. The matchup isn't […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoLarry Fitzgerald In The Flex Mix
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is coming off an eight-catch game that energized his owners after several stale showings. Don't expect him to carry that over into Week 11. The San Francisco 49ers are one of the top-five teams at defending receivers the last five weeks. They've allowed 9.8 receptions for 102.8 yards and […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoChristian Kirk Slots In As WR3
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk broke out for six catches, 138 yards and three touchdowns last week. However, that momentum may halt against the San Francisco 49ers, which are one of the better teams against wideouts. Kirk has the talent and upside to overcome the matchup, though. Wide receivers have averaged 9.8 receptions for […]
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoAndy Isabella Not An Option
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Andy Isabella has flashed some big plays the last couple of weeks, and he has become the de facto third receiver for the club. He's not worth the risk against the San Francisco 49ers, though. The Niners are too tough of a defense to bank on Isabella's inconsistency.
Ryan Dodson 5 years agoZane Gonzalez Has Rough Outlook
Arizona Cardinals kicker Zane Gonzalez has entrenched himself as a solid fantasy kicker, going a perfect 10-for-10 in field goals and 12-for-12 in extra points the last five games. He's facing the toughest team to kick against during the stretch in the San Francisco 49ers. He's still worth running out as a low-end starter, but […]
