BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues
ANALYSIS: Bartolo Colon is one of everyone's favorite players to watch bat because of how ridiculous his swings are. Today, however, we are going to talk about his pitching. Colon has 6 consecutive starts of allowing two runs or less dating back to his May 17th start against the Nationals, with the most recent one being an 8 IP gem @STL. His 7.23 K/9 is the highest it has been since he was with the Yankees in 2011, and he's only walked 13 batters in 92.2 innings pitched. Colon will occasionally get hit hard, but somehow at age 41 he's finding ways to get major league hitters out, and none of his underlying metrics indicate he's getting unusually lucky. Colon is worth an add if you need ERA / WHIP help and as a match-up guy, if not only to give yourself more incentive to watch his at-bats as well.
