BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper Leagues, All NL-Only Leagues
ANALYSIS: Bartolo Colon, the ageless wonder, has been on a tear recently making him an intriguing waiver wire pickup in many leagues, especially if you're looking for some starting pitching help. Colon came into the year on many sleepers lists, but was quickly forgotten about after getting off to a rough start. Well he is only owned in 28% of Yahoo leagues, and has been on fire recently. Over his last 3 games, he's give up at most 2 runs in any start, while going at least 7 IP and getting 3 Wins. Over the past 14 days, he's the #63 overall ranked player in Yahoo, putting up a pristine 1.96 ERA and 1.04 WHIP with 17 K in 18 1/3 IP. He pitches in a good pitchers park, doesn't walk batters, puts up solid Ks, and can get hot in stretches. He faces off against the Giants on Saturday, pitching in a pitcher-friendly AT&T park. The Giants have been hitting well for the most part, but he's worth a flier off the waiver wire to see if he can keep the hot streak going.
