It's been a sweet week after RotoBaller had the number one Fantasy NASCAR picks in the industry according to Daily Overlay. Michigan gave us an exciting race and finish with Kevin Harvick and Denny Hamlin. Harvick is gaining momentum and could wiggle his way back to glory before the end of the chase.
Ryan Preece and Austin Dillon were tied at 59 FPTS, and served as the best low cost picks at Michigan. Dillon started in P37, and finished 13th while Preece started 29th, and worked his way to seventh before the checkered flag waved. Both of these drivers don't have the best luck at Bristol so I'll be looking elsewhere this week.
Bristol's night race is one of the most popular races of the season, which should bring out a lot of people playing DFS on Saturday. It's important to have solid guys with history to build a winning lineup this week, and two veterans come to mind when trying to attack the strategy. There's lots of money on the table this week, and the right low-cost driver is the difference between pocket change and big bank.

DFS Lineup Sleepers - Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race
Jimmie Johnson
Johnson hasn't had the best finishes since Cliff Daniels took over, but at Bristol, Johnson has the history to make him a solid sleeper. Johnson has brought in an average of 49 FPTS since 2018, and should continue that trend this Saturday. You can grab Johnson on DraftKings for $7000.
Ty Dillon
Most may have already forgotten, but Dillon was the Stage 1 winner of the Food City 500. Dillon has finished every race at Bristol with positive placement since 2018, and had a career-best 15th place at this track earlier in the year. Look to put Dillon in your lineups if he finds himself towards the rear.
Ryan Newman
Hot Dog man Ryan Newman is the second veteran who can make things happen for you this weekend. Newman has averaged around 46 FPTS at Bristol since 2017, and knows how to work his way through a pack at the short track. Newman is another driver I would love to see start towards the rear.
DFS Lineup Avoids - Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race
Martin Truex Jr.
Truex Jr. had his first short-track victory this season at Richmond, but I don't think he's ready for the coliseum. Up until April, Truex Jr. didn't finish with positive placement at this track since 2015. Truex Jr. is simply not worth the risk when having to spend over $11,000 for him in DFS games.
William Byron
Byron gets the park for the second time in a row this season (not my fault the schedule worked out this way). Byron has averaged only 12 FPTS since he started his career in racing. I know in time Byron will get better at this track, but as he's still being groomed by Kanus, I won't be touching him at Bristol.
Michael McDowell
McDowell can be an appealing play for the price each week, but not this weekend. McDowell hasn't finished outside the Top 20 since 2016, which was a 19th place finish. Mcdowell has been looking good at superspeedways, but short tracks just aren't his game. Since 2017, Mcdowell has only finished three out of five races at this track, and averages -5 FPTS.
