ANALYSIS: Ben McLemore?
Ben McLemore!
I thought McLemore's whole NBA career was over after he played just 19 games for the Kings last year, but he's been revitalized with the Rockets this season.
McLemore's seen an increase in minutes over the last four games, and he's responded with big numbers. 22.5 points per game with 4.5 boards while making 5.5 threes per game. He's taking 11.3 threes per game over that span.
11.3. Read that number again.
I don't know how long McLemore can keep this up, but if you need points and threes to help you out for now, there are many, many worse options on the waiver wire. As long as McLemore is getting the green light to fire away from behind the arc, he'll return value.
The thing that blocks him long term is Eric Gordon's return from knee surgery. He should be back later this month, which knocks McLemore's role down a good bit. So, don't think of him as a long term fantasy solution for you, but he should help you for a couple more weeks.
