BALLER MOVE: Add in all leagues.
If you're looking for a cheap source of batting average, runs scored, and speed, Billy Burns might just be your guy. Although you might not guess it from their place in the standings, the Oakland A's have scored the seventh most runs in baseball to this point in the season. Atop that surprisingly productive lineup has been Burns with his .360 OBP. He's hitting .311/.360/.425 on the season with seven stolen bases in only 26 games. Burns has been even better in the recent past, having hit .367 with two home runs through the last week of May. Given his spot in the lineup and the strength of the offense behind him, those kind of numbers have relevance even in standard leagues. In deeper leagues, especially for owners on the hunt for stolen bases and runs, they make Burns an incredibly intriguing asset for as long as his bat stays hot.
