Brandin Cooks is going to explode this week. I'm very confident about this, but of course, some things just do not turn out the way they should.
Cooks has had a less than stellar performance so far this season, with 20 receptions for 215 yards and no touchdowns, but he should be able to break his scoreless streak this week. First of all, Brees looked like his shoulder was hurting him last week, so he will want to throw the ball short early and often against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles hate to cover the short route, and generally, they just allow wide receivers to run free. Cooks is a quick WR that loves to run short routes. Do you see where I am going with this? Do not be surprised if Cooks turns in a great performance with over 10 receptions and a touchdown. Get him fired up in your Week 5 lineups.
