BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 45% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Brandon Clarke is playing fewer minutes per game than in the prior two seasons he spent in the NBA. Brandon Clarke is also part of a team that is winning more than it ever did since Clarke arrived in Memphis as a rook three years ago. Oh, and even though the minutes are lower, the efficiency and the numbers are as high as they can get, so you know what to do!
The average FP/min in the NBA sits at around 0.90. Brandon Clarke has played 34 games through Friday... and posted an 0.90+ FP/min mark in 25 (!) of them while averaging an impressive 1.11 FP/min over that full sample of games. That, simply put, is incredible. Clarke is putting up the fantasy numbers averaged by the likes of Beal, Shai, Jaylen Brown, Ingram, Edwards, or LaVine just to name a few. Of course, Clarke is playing just 19 MPG on the year and only a slightly higher 23 MPG since the start of January, but you get an idea of how productive this guy has been when on the court.
Clarke is one of only five players logging fewer than 20 MPG on the season while putting up a baseline of 5-5-1 per game, and one of only two with a 10-5-1 among those. While he's only shooting half a three-pointer per game, Clarke's stupid 65% shooting from the floor is the 8th-highest among players attempting at least 6+ FGA on the season. He's also hitting nearly 68% of his freebies (almost 2 FTA per game). Here are all players averaging 10+ PPG, 5+ RPG, 1+ APG, 6+ FGA, and fewer than 1 SPG: Clint Capela, Lauri Markkanen, and Brandon Clarke. And none of the former two is shooting above 57% from the floor, by the way.

Fantasy Basketball Deeper-League Waiver Wire Adds for Week 24: Isaac Okoro, Kris Dunn, Josh Richardson, Corey Kispert, Delon Wright
The deeper a fantasy basketball league, the harder it is to hit a winner with your last few picks. It is also harder to find decent help from the waiver wire if your late-round picks don't do you justice. If you picked up a few stinkers, don't lose hope just yet. I will try to […]
Onyeka Okongwu (SF/PF, ATL): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 16% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Hawks are currently the 10th seed in the East but are also tied for 8th and 9th with Brooklyn and Charlotte respectively. There's even a chance (albeit small) that Atlanta could rise as high as to reach the 7th seed if […]
Immanuel Quickley (PG, NYK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 48% of leagues ANALYSIS: If we use common basketball sense, then the New York Knicks and Coach Thibs should try and see what the young guys such as Immanuel Quickley have in them and what they can provide the franchise with ROS, as the NYK are […]
Deni Avdija (SG/SF, WAS): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 37% of leagues ANALYSIS: One would reasonably think that a player seeing a playing-time boost such as that of Deni Avdija's this month would make said player drop his efficiency numbers. Well, not the case for the Wiz Wing by the looks of it. Avdija has […]
Nicolas Claxton (PF/C, BRK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 24% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Nets can finally rest assured they'll make the play-in portion of the season. Not quite what you expected when the season got rolling back in October, but at least more than what the Lakers would have accomplished a week from now. […]
