BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
ANALYSIS: A lot of times when pitchers switch from the NL to the AL, they're greeted with the harsh reality that, well, offenses are more potent in the AL. This has not been the case for Brandon McCarthy, who has been fantastic since joining the Yankees at the beginning of July. In his last six starts he has pitched his way to a 2.11 ERA and 4 wins while collecting a cool 36 strikeouts. Not bad for a guy whose ERA had climbed to 5.01 while he was pitching for the D'Backs. While McCarthy has always been a solid producer in the strikeout department, the rest of his repertoire seems to have caught up -- at least for now. Ride McCarthy as long as he's hot, but jump ship if he has a couple poor outings in a row.
