ANALYSIS: Brendan Rodgers has recently been called up by the Colorado Rockies, and though his previous MLB runs have ended in disappointment, this might be the extended opportunity he needs to finally break through. The five-year top-rated prospect has already collected two hits in his first seven major league AB for 2021, and in 15 Triple-A AB this year, he came away with two doubles and a 1.100 OPS. Overall, in 227 total Triple-A AB since 2018, Rodgers has clubbed nine home runs and a .322/.375/.520 slash, while hitting for 23 HR and an .806 OPS with 12 stolen bases in 507 Double-A AB.

Though he seems to have since abandoned the base-stealing mentality, Rodgers' power-bat has stood up to every level, except the MLB, thus far, and it is easy to imagine the sort of damage he is capable of in Coors Field. His strikeout and walk tendencies are in need of improvement, but if you're looking for a high-rewards roll of the dice in deeper leagues, Brendan Rodgers fits the bill.
