Breshad Perriman Droppable in Redraft Leagues

It's hard to feel sorry for an overrated and overpaid quarterback who already has a Super Bowl ring. But with that said, the Ravens have put quarterback Joe Flacco in a tough spot this season. Other than Steve Smith Sr., Flacco has nobody to throw the football too. Sure, he was supposed to have first-round draft pick Breshad Perriman, but the speedster out of UCF can't seem to stay healthy, and, even if he was healthy, his hands are suspect at best.

Right when we thought Perriman was getting close to making his NFL debut, he re-aggrivated a right knee injury in pregame warmups. There is no word on how much longer Perriman will be out, but it's obvious the team is going to be very cautious with their No. 26 overall draft pick. The Ravens could hold him out until after their week 9 bye week.

Considering Perriman is a rookie with questionable hands who can't stay healthy, he's safe to drop in all redraft leagues. Don't do anything crazy like dropping him in a dynasty league, but if you're still waiting for him to help you in your redraft league, you don't have a chance at winning anyways. You'd be better off dropping him for Jermaine Kearse, Marvin Jones, Cecil Shorts or Nate Washington. At least those guys will contribute a few points every week.
