ANALYSIS: I do not feel great about recommending Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Breshad Perriman as a waiver wire option, but as someone who pays a lot of attention to targets, I have to pay some attention to Perriman.
The fourth-year wideout had a season-high eight targets in Week 9, catching four of them or 42 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown was an accident -- it was thrown toward a cluster of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Seattle defenders and ended up being tipped into Perriman's hands -- but eight targets is a good number of targets.
The Bucs appear to have fully abandoned even the illusion of caring about tight ends, which leaves more targets for whoever their third receiver is. While Scott Miller could eventually make his case for that role, right now it appears to be Perriman who has it.
Tampa Bay throws a lot, so Perriman will have chances to put up decent numbers moving forward. He's worth a flyer in a deep league based on the make up of this offense, even if he's not someone I'd feel confident starting at this point.
