Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Kyle Lohse has been demoted to the bullpen.
Loshe, 36, has had a terrible season. The right-hander is 5-13 with a 6.31 ERA and 1.47 WHIP in 124 innings in 22 starts this season for the last-place Brewers. It’s the final season of his three-year, $33 million deal but he won’t finish it out in the starting rotation.
Tyler Cravy will start for #Brewers on Friday. Lohse to the bullpen.

In 15 MLB seasons, Lohse has a career 4.38 ERA. He’s had his share of good seasons and his share of bad seasons but this year has by far been his worst in three years in Milwaukee.
Tyler Cravy will fill the void in the Brewers starting rotation. In three MLB starts, the rookie is 0-2 with a 3.60 ERA. His best start was his debut back in June when he went seven innings of one-run ball against the St. Louis Cardinals. The right-hander’ last start was a month ago. Cravy has been pitching with Triple-A Colorado Springs since his last start. He’s 7-7 with a 3.97 ERA.
