BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 2% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The 2019 season has not been kind to the Atlanta Falcons from a win-loss perspective, and now they've started to add the injury bug on top of things.
Before Atlanta's Week 10 game, the team placed backup running back Ito Smith (neck) on the Injured Reserve, a move that made Brian Hill's move to the backup running back role permanent. But that backup role wouldn't remain a backup role for long, as Devonta Freeman was forced out of Sunday's game with a foot injury and is expected to miss a couple of games.
So, Hill's now the starter in Atlanta, at least for the next two weeks. On Sunday, Hill had 20 carries for 61 yards and also added a 10-yard touchdown reception. I don't expect him to get heavy usage in the passing game, but finding someone on the waiver wire at this point in the year who can get 20 touches in a game is almost unheard of. You probably shouldn't blow your whole FAAB budget on a short term replacement or anything, but he should be a waiver priority because of his potential volume in Weeks 11 and 12.
