ANALYSIS: Entering his third season in the NFL, running back Brian Hill might finally have his opportunity to see the field in the next week or so. Devonta Freeman left last week’s game against the Rams after getting ejected and Ito Smith left the game with a stinger, but now may end up in the concussion protocol.

Hill came into the game and saw five carries, taking them for just 11 yards. But he also saw two targets and caught both of them, and he’s capable of catching the ball out of the backfield. This waiver wire pickup may be a bit of a stretch, but in your deeper leagues, the possibility of Smith missing time and Freeman potentially being in the doghouse after being ejected, he’s a name worth monitoring and potentially stashing. He isn’t someone I’d use your waiver wire priority or much FAAB on, but keep an eye on this Falcons backfield over the next few days and don’t be afraid to stash Hill.
