BALLER MOVE: Add in All Dynasty Formats / Monitor in All Leagues
ANALYSIS: I had been debating with myself whether I should add Brian Tyms in my dynasty league. Ultimately I could not bring myself to pull the trigger, so of course he caught a long touchdown pass on Sunday. I would have regretted it, except I decided to spend a healthy amount of my FAAB to get Tyms for my bench.
Why did I do that? Because Tyms is one of my wide receiver sleepers for the long term. He's still only 25 and ranks in the 95th percentile for wide receivers catch radius in the NFL. He also ranks in the 89th percentile for his jumping ability. At 6'3" this means that Tyms can really go up and catch balls over defenders. His 40 yard dash time is not necessarily the quickest, but thanks to his height and jumping ability he doesn't necessarily need to be wide open to make catches. Tyms is worth a speculative add off the waiver wire in dynasty formats, especially since the Patriots need a vertical option and LaFell may not be the answer they are looking for.
