BALLER MOVE: Add In 12-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 23% of leagues
ANALYSIS: A week. It's been a week already since the All-Star game took place yet most fantasy owners have yet to get back on track to complete their daily fantasy-duties. How do I know? Well, you just have to take a look at Bruce Brown's ownership and you'll realize something's wrong. If you don't know, Detroit has moved on from Andre Drummond and this week from Reggie Jackson too. The team is in full rebuild-mode now and its staff is letting everybody know they'll test the young players for the rest of the season to know what they have in town. Things can't look better for Brown.
Sure, Derrick Rose is still the no. 1 (and best) point guard in Detroit, but with Blake Griffin lost for the season and the team wanting to lose it is not impossible to see Detroit shutting him down almost completely in favor of some younger assets. Even if that's not the case, Brown will still get plenty of minutes at the SG position. He's started six of his last seven games and played an average of 34 (!) minutes in his last eight. Brown is averaging a 10-7-4-1 line in that span and getting better by the day.
If you don't believe my claims, just check this out: Brown's last three games have seen him score 10, 2, and 16 points while grabbing 12, 10, and 10 rebounds, and dishing out 5, 2 and 7 assists. In the middle of that line, regarding the rebounds, you have just read what has made Brown the first-ever Pistons' guard to have back-to-back-to-back 10+ board games. Insane! Brown is an absolute must-add player for the remainder of the season no matter the type of league you happen to be playing in. People seem to be a little asleep after the break. Take advantage of it and pick Brown up as soon as you can!
