BALLER MOVE: Handcuff to Allen Hurns
OWNED IN: 1% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: Bryan Walters needs to slip between two Allens to establish any fantasy worth. That is, Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns, both of whom continue to break out in Jacksonville. Robinson recently visited Revis Island and was one of few able to penetrate the tightly covered land. Hurns has been consistent all year, although appeared to have sprained his ankle on Blake Bortles' game-ending interception against the New York Jets Sunday. Hurns is listed as questionable and if he can't suit up against the Baltimore Ravens, it might be easier for Walters to find an opening.
But, let's pump the breaks first. According to First Coast News, x-rays on Hurns' foot came back normal and he is expected to play, despite his questionable tag. If these results hold up, Walters can easily lose himself among a talented offense once again. The third-year receiver has put up ten or more fantasy points in three separate weeks, but he is simply too inconsistent to trust as a starter. He can be Effective in PPR leagues but only if he's targeted, and if Hurns is healthy, targets for Walters are likely to be limited.
The matchup against Baltimore is a good one. According to Yahoo! Sports, the Ravens have given up the second most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Keep an eye on Hurns' progress before giving Walters the nod.
