Analysis: Byron Buxton has been scuffling at the plate this season as he's posted an atrocious 45.5 K% through his first 44 plate appearances. Meanwhile his BB% is a measly 4.5%. Most of the time this type of production would scare me off, but Buxton is still just 22 years old and one of the most talented young players in the game. Because he has 80 grade speed and is a dynamic center-fielder he helps the Twins enough now that while he's slumping at the plate that they will likely give him every opportunity to start and succeed. If you need help in the SB department considering adding Byron now while his stock is low and he's likely available for free or very cheap. His upside is enormous and his ceiling looks like the Sistine Chapel's. Worst case scenario is that he gets sent down to AAA to work on his plate discipline and you can cut your losses because you won't have paid much.
