BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 1% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: With Tyreek Hill still out and Sammy Watkins now dealing with a hamstring injury, the WR1 job in Kansas City is temporarily up in the air. Based on Sunday's game, rookie Byron Pringle could be in line for an expanded role moving forward, including being quarterback Patrick Mahomes' top non-Travis Kelce option until Hill and Watkins are healthy.
On Sunday, Pringle was targeted nine times, catching six passes for 103 yards and a touchdown. Of the team's wide receivers, only Demarcus Robinson was on the field more than Pringle was, who had a 78 percent snap rate. That's higher than highly touted rookie Mecole Hardman.
Pringle definitely passed the eye test on Sunday as well, looking like a huge weapon for this team. The Chiefs receivers are mostly known for being able to make plays deep, but Pringle looks to be a multi-level threat for this team. I'm not sure if he'll be able sustain production once the team is fully healthy, but at least for the next week or two, Pringle's an option in 12-team leagues, though a potential foot injury for Patrick Mahomes could stifle Pringle's upside.
