BALLER MOVE: Add in 12 Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 33% of Yahoo! leagues
ANALYSIS:
Cron returned from injury just a night ago, and went 3-for-5 with a long ball. He has been mutilating lefties since the start of the season, posting a .436 wOBA and 1.086 ISO. If you can forecast a few lefties coming up, Cron is one of the more valuable hitters in all of baseball. He’s not bad against righties by any means, with the majority of his power coming vs them (11 HR, 13 2B).
He only strikes out 17% of the time and walks half as often. His negative would be playing time, but the Twins have shown a willingness to play Cron night in and night out. This lineup consistently puts up five + runs and Cron will be slotted behind Nelson Cruz or Eddie Rosario regularly. If you’re in need of a first baseman or just a hitter with a ton of upside, C.J. Cron is your man. He’ll likely go back over 50% owned this week, so make sure you act now if you are in need.
