ANALYSIS: Miles has been given the green light to shoot in Indiana, averaging 17.2 points per game over his past six games and considering Rodney Stuckey watched his minutes dip during the last month and then sat out Wednesday's game in Oakland to rest a groin (an injury that has a high chance of becoming lingering), Miles will be given an opportunity to showcase his skill set in the near future. It doesn't hurt that Miles has been in a groove chucking it from downtown since December (2.7 threes made per game) and his ability to pick up some other stats (3.8 rebounds and 1 assist per game since the calendar flipped) also adds value. Its important to keep an eye on the decisions by Frank Vogel and the Indiana coaching staff concerning the depth chart going forward considering Indiana’s tendency to maintain a revolving door of swingmen.
