Call of Duty: New York Home Series (Best of 5)
- Atlanta FaZe vs. Chicago Huntsmen
- New York Subliners vs. Toronto Ultra
COD DFS Basics
- Like in CSGO, players receive two points for a kill and are penalized -1 for dying. Therefore, the simplest stat to look at here is K/D ratio. However, players can also earn fantasy points for planting or defusing bombs (three points each) in Search and Destroy rounds, so there are some players who we can target for other skills besides their ability to kill the opponent.
- You need to roster a team slot on both sites. Teams accrue fantasy points for games won (+4), matches won (+10), and Search and Destroy rounds won (+.5).
- Teams will be playing best-of-five matches on a rotation of various game modes. Those modes and the order in which they are played is as follows: Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, Domination, Hardpoint, Search & Destroy.
- In hardpoint rounds, players with positive K/D ratios are usually the highest scorers and these rounds are often the bloodiest.
- The Domination round is a good bit different than the others as teams attempt to control flag points on the map. These rounds can be bloody, but also can be relatively low-scoring depending on how aggressive or defensive teams get in this round. Players can earn +1 for successful flag captures during this domination round.
Slate Summary
We have a tw0-match slate here today with each of these games having a fairly close spread. I expect both of these matches to go four or five games. Atlanta and Chicago have been two of the top teams in the league all season while Toronto and New York are both surging lately. Less matches typically means chalkier plays, i'll try to provide some leverage options here so let’s dive in!
COD DFS Captain Considerations
Mack - Day in and day out, regardless of match-up, Mack will almost always be a top captain play. With that being said, he is also almost always the chalkiest as well, but for good reason. Mack is an elite COD player, there is really no other way to put it. His K/D is far and away the best on this roster and he literally has a ceiling of 200. Eat this chalk in cash games and move on.
Cammy - Toronto takes on New York in what should be a very tight series. Now before you stop reading because I just recommended Cammy as a captain play, let’s examine the facts. He has dropped over 100 in four straight series, even hitting 147 on Friday. This is strictly a GPP-only captain play just to be clear. But I really do like the upside he brings to the table in what should be a five game series.
Abezy - Typically with FaZe, Simp and Cellium are the two captain options. But let’s talk about their best player as of late. Abezy has had five straight with over 130 fantasy points, including two over 150. His ceiling is just about as high as it can possibly be right now. Game in and game out he has been the most consistent player on this FaZe roster, I expect fairly low captain ownership considering he is FaZe's third highest price player.
.Other captain plays: Temp, Simp
COD DFS Value Plays
Accuracy - In my opinion, he is the second best player on this Subliners squad but his price never reflects that. He has gone over 100 in two of his last three and is a top value play on the slate. He dropped a 120 on Friday, and also showed a beautiful ceiling by posting a 140 a couple weeks back.
Bance - He has been another great option for this Ultra squad this tournament, dropping a smooth 138 on Friday, as well as a solid 109 on Saturday. I love this game as a spot to get a lot of exposure to both sides and I expect it to shoot out. Taking Bance and/or Accuracy opens up more than enough to get whoever you please from the top.
Other value plays: Scump, Zoomaa

COD DFS Stacks
New York/Toronto: I will have more than one piece from both sides of this match as I believe it is more likely to go five. Mack, Accuracy, and Temp are my three favorite from this New York squad. On the other side, My top three are Cammy, Methodz, and Bance. My strategy for tomorrow will be stacking from this game and adding a couple FaZe pieces. Toronto has been hot on search and I expect them to dominate in that aspect. I lean NY on the hardpoints and that gives me all the more reason to think this match will go five games.
Chicago is a fade for me personally which could end up biting me. But if you do want to go there, FormaL, Arcitys, and Scump are my favorites.
Other stacks/ teams: Atlanta FaZe (Abezy, Simp, MajorManiak, Cellium in that order)
