Lucas Duda was easily one of the most maddening players to own in fantasy in 2015. He could win you a week single-handedly sometimes, or he could go ice cold for weeks and months at a time. Then naturally just when you cut him, someone else would pick him up right before he exploded again. Such is the fantasy life.
So what does that mean for Duda in 2016? Honestly you can probably expect more of the same. This is good or bad depending on what type of league you're in. In a H2H league, the cold spells are enough to make drafters stay away. In rotisserie though, Duda will still be good for 25-30 home runs so he could be worth investing in. Even in H2H, Duda wouldn't be a bad guy to stash on the bench and to play when he goes on one of his home run binges.
Duda actually hit for better average against southpaw pitchers, but hit 20 of his 27 bombs off righties. Yeah, good luck figuring this guy out. Draft at your own risk if you need some power potential.
